This module will give you a solid foundation from which to build your coaching practice. In this module you will get clarity on coaching, how it differs from other helping relationships, and how to structure your coaching conversations using the GROW framework.

In this module, you will learn the skills and techniques that will help you establish your coaching relationship and truly understand your coachee. You will gain an understanding of rapport and the techniques of building a connect with your coachee. You will recognise the importance of psychological safety for coaching conversations to be effective. You will learn to use deep listening to help your coachee identify their hopes and aspirations, and enable them to craft effective goals that they wish to move towards.

In this final module, you will learn about the tools and techniques that you can use as coaches to help your coachess to explore their current reality, identify the options available to them, and discover their own solutions to move forward to their desired destination. You will also learn how to help your coachees shape their learning agendas, as well as plan regular check-ins to map their progress.
