  • The Art and Science of Influencing

    This module is designed to provide you with practical tactics for influencing others to achieve win-win outcomes.You’ll learn how establishing common ground can help build trust and increase the chances of reaching a win-win outcome. You’ll explore various techniques for uncovering underlying needs; including active listening and asking open-ended questions. You’ll delve into the importance of building credibility with your stakeholders. You’ll learn how to build credibility through social proof and explore various techniques for leveraging social proof, including testimonials, team voting, etc. You will be introduced to the SUCCESs framework for effective communication, which stands for Simple, Unexpected, Concrete, Credible, Emotional, and Stories. And finally, you’ll learn how to develop a persuasive style using the 3Vs: Verbal, Vocal, and Visual. You will explore various techniques for enhancing each of these elements, including using persuasive language, controlling your tone of voice, and using body language effectively.
